Lyrics

[Chorus]
Mary behold,
have no fear
He's gone away you won't
find Him here
Tell the world,
don't delay
That Jesus Christ
rose from the dead today

[Verse]
Mary took off running
Back toward town
Had to tell the brethren
just what she found
Woman you talking crazy
No way is he alive
I was there
I watched him die

[Verse]
We was up on Calvary
Don't you see?
We all saw him
hanging on that tree
The sky turned black,
the thunder roared
The ground began to shake
Then the veil was torn

[Chorus]
Mary behold, have no fear
He's gone away you won't find Him here
Tell the world, don't delay
That Jesus Christ rose from the dead today

[Verse]
There’s no way He is alive
We were there, we watched Him die.
Yes, I was there, I watched him die!!….

[Instrumental]

Yes, I believe it
I believe it
I believe it
Yes, it's true

Oh, I believe it
I believe it
I believe it
Yes, it's true

[Chorus]
Mary behold, have no fear
He's gone away you won't find Him here
Tell the world, don't delay
That Jesus Christ rose from the dead today
Yes Jesus Christ rose from the dead today
